The focus of this commercial is the cheesy bacon mushroom yum. The daughter in the story has four suitor, then every suitor has something to present with the girl. The first suitor brings a flower but the father didn’t want it because they are allergic to the flowers, second suitor brings a teddy bear but the father told him that there was no space in their house for that stuff toy, the third suitor brings a dog, but the father told him that Boton (their cat) don’t want a dog, but then suddenly there’s another boy who wants to court his daughter, before he came, the girl called the boy and reminds him to be on time and reminds about her and her father’s favorite, suddenly, a boy came out and he brings a Jollibee cheesy bacon mushroom yum to give for the father as well as for the girl. The boy greets the father and the father said “cheesy bacon yum” then he gave the burger while saying “special po ngayon e”. he was the only suitor that entertained by the father because father wants the surprise of the boy and he told that the boy has a taste then the boy smiled because he know that the father allowed him to court her daughter.

We all know that Jollibee is for kids, but the strategy used in this commercial is effective not just for kids but also for all ages. They showed us that if you have a cheesy bacon yum, your day will be an extra special because of its deliciousness and satisfying taste, and it seems like you are excited to eat that burger.

In the story, the father rejected the three suitors but he accepted the last suitor because the suitor presents something that is satisfying for him, by this, the father allowed her daughter to be court but he will accept the suitor once the suitor brings something special, and with that, the father finds happiness with the burger. This advertisement is catchy into the eyes of the viewers because they will think that the products are delicious and their money is worth if they purchase the products.


The television used as a medium of this commercial to reach their target market and also to promote their products. They flash this commercial in the television many times to keep the products in the minds of people so that they will try the products of Jollibee.
